Students born on or before September 30, 2019 qualify for kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. 

 

Physical and Immunizations 

A comprehensive physical examination and immunization record for all students entering Kindergarten must be submitted prior to the first day of school. Pediatrician offices are frequently busy this time of year, please schedule your appointment early to ensure that this deadline is met.

 

Assemble Documents Needed to Register Your Student

• Your student's orginial birth certificate or certified copy (with a raised seal).
• A deed or lease for your home or a contract for a new home (if you do not have a deed, lease, or contract please read Regultion 711-3 for more information about documenting your residency in Prince William County).
• Two additional documents to prove your residency selected from the following:
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with current address
  • Car registration
  • Utility bill or uility hook-up documentation
  • Personal property tax bill
  • Bank statement
  • Payroll stub
  • Voter registration 
  • Car or Home Owners Insurance policy statment or card
  • Other documentary evidence sufficient to prove residency
  • Custody documents if applicable
  • A copy of the current Individual Education Plan (IEP) for students receiving special education services
  • Physical and Immunization Record
