Together we are going to learn new things, play new games, and open a whole new world!  I hope to instill a love for learning and exploring in the hearts of our Kindergarten students throughout the year!

Spring Break
School will be closed from April 6th - April 10th for Spring break

Change in Transportation

If there is a change in your child's transportation, please send in a written note signed by a parent/guardian (is required).  Email or Class Dojo messages can not be accepted.  If there is an emergency, please call the office.  

Extra Clothes

Please provide an extra change of clothes (in a labeled zip-lock bag) to keep in the classroom.  We recommend pants and a t-shirt that can be used throughout the school year.  If your child uses the extra set of clothing, please be sure to send in a replacement change of clothing.  

Snack
Your child will be given time for a quick morning snack.  Please provide 1 easy to eat, healthy snack (no cookies, please) and water (no juice, please).  Students should be able to ope their snack easily.

Things You Can Do At Home

  • Read, Read, Read 
  • Practice identifying letters, sounds, and numbers 
  • Practice writing the sounds your child hears in words 
  • Sorting objects
  • Writing your child's name correctly
  • Counting objects and writing the number 
  • Identifying coins and counting coins to ten cent 
  • Read and write sight words 
  • Write sentences
